While sitting poolside at The Crane Resort I actually found myself distracted from my reading....because of how quiet it was. I can't tell you the last time the only sounds I was exposed to were SOOTHING ambient noises. It was startling, but welcomed.Knowing that my moment of Zen would not last forever, I decided to record it for those days when I needed to be back poolside with not a care in the world. Relaxation techniques often recommend visualizing serene settings where you can let go of all your cares. The thing is, visualization works best when you're not trying to conjure up an image and you already have a "happy place" stored in your mind.
If you don't have a happy place, you are most welcome to use mine. For those days when you feel like being "anywhere, but here" I offer you 62 seconds of Zen :)
I bet you now feel either (1) A bit more relaxed....(2) A sudden urgent need to wee wee....or (3) No different from before, which would mean you're either not stressed or way beyond any help 62 seconds of Zen can provide.
Whatever the case, FIND A HAPPY PLACE! :D
